The staff and management at The 5 Pin Bowl are in favor of making the building in compliance with Bowl Canada's policies of Safe Sport.
We intend to make the bowling alley a Safe Space for all.
The term safe space refers to places "intended to be free of bias, conflict, criticism, or potentially threatening actions, ideas, or conversations". The term is meant to include any place where a marginalized minority (e.g. gender, ethnic, religious) can come together to communicate regarding their shared experiences.

The 5 Pin Bowl is committed to creating respectful and inclusive environments that honor each individual's gender identity and expression. We aim to provide all participants with access to programs and facilities where they feel comfortable and secure, and we are dedicated to enforcing this policy fairly and equitably.
The 5 Pin Bowl is dedicated to fostering a sporting environment where every individual is treated with respect and dignity.
The 5 Pin Bowl is dedicated to fostering opportunities for individuals in the sport of bowling, enabling participation across all levels, from local leagues to international competitions.
The 5 Pin Bowl's policy ensures that every bowling participant is entitled to a sport and work environment devoid of harassment, where they are treated with respect and dignity.
The 5 Pin Bowl prioritizes creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all participants. A secure sporting environment for bowlers can only be achieved through collective vigilance. Regardless of how trivial your concerns may seem, addressing them is crucial. This could involve discussing your concerns with an authority figure in your club or organization, or, if you fear retaliation, choosing to report anonymously.
